Homepage

Who are we?
Highland Breast Care Association is a non-medical support group offering encouragement and understanding to women/men and their partners dealing with diagnosis/treatment for breast cancer.

What can we offer?
We work in partnership with staff at Raigmore hospital, including the Breast Care Nurses, to provide a service to those who would like to speak to someone with experience of Breast Cancer who has an understanding of some of the issues you might be facing.

Our service includes hospital visits (on request) and telephone support from volunteers who are themselves at least two years post operative. All our volunteers are fully trained to offer support and guidance in total confidence.

We hold regular monthly meetings and also have a range of information leaflets and books that can be accessed by anyone interested in finding out more about their condition.
